Uses
Viagra is used to treat sexual function problems such as impotence or erectile dysfunction.

Side effects of Viagra
Although side effects from sildenafil are not common, they can occur. Tell your doctor

(stuffiness), changes in vision, breast enlargement. Serious side effects could include:
shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, dizziness, or an allergic reaction (swelling of

immediately.

Precautions When Taking Viagra
Before using Viagra, tell your doctor your medical history, including any allergies
(especially drug allergies), any penis conditions such as fibrosis/scarring, history of
painful/prolonged erection (priapism), sickle cell anemia, blood system cancers (such as
leukemia or myeloma), or Peyronie's disease, eye problems (retina diseases). kidney
or liver disease, bleeding disorders or active stomach ulcers, heart diseases, stroke or

Drug Interactions

any nitrate medications (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate), nitroprusside (any "nitric
oxide donor" medicines), cimetidine, erythromycin, azole antifungals (e.g., itraconazole,
ketoconazole), mibefradil, rifamycins (e.g., rifampin), high blood pressure medicines, any
other drug used to treat impotence, such as alprostadil (Caverject, Muse, Edex) or
yohimbine (Yocon, Yodoxin, others);

Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room
immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: back or muscle pain; blurred vision.
